In preliminary research, I decided to keep everything in house except processing of payments. It gave me more control over the entire process, but created much more work at first.
The basic modules required to assemble and to scare off the membership area, were:
1. Accession software to create logins and passwords
2. Affiliate software for tracking affiliate sales and commissions
3. Autoresponder
4. Payment Processor
Discover what software to use is a matter of trial and error, but I finally finished by choosing:
1. Membership Manager from soil
2. Ultimate Affiliate Manager to manage the membership functions
3. Autoresponder Plus software answering machine
4. PayPal / 2CheckOut to process recurring payments
The next step was to get a programmer to connect the dots and make three programs play nicely together. This was the stage where I realized that I did everything backwards.
Instead to find the software and then the programmer, I found a programmer and let him decide how to create the system. I now the crossroads. Do I scrap the software I already purchased and start from ground zero, or should I invest in a programmer to try to All software play together.
To make a long story short, I chose the second option and paid a programmer a small fortune to try the impossible. In the end, the businessman works to 90% on autopilot and 10% on the manual.
It was a long and costly process, but a fantastic experience. And the adventure is far from over.
Now, I had a pitch fees private label with a $ 5762 price. Then I had to fill it with content. It took two months to complete the content and get things rolling.
Fast forward to today.
Challenge:
Both Edwin and I are spending 80% of our time to market business man and you do not have enough time to create solid content in the area of the member.
Solution:
Outsource marketing to a handful of qualified contractors, so we can concentrate on upgrading the section members.
Marketers to collect and keep 100% of membership fees and we get a constant stream of new members who order our products and services. This model of cooperative enterprise built a fort, more profitable business for all.
